SiliconTech’s first Practice School (PS) batch under autonomy completed their PS program with their final PS presentation on 8 Jan 2022. The PS course is an optional component in the B.Tech. curriculum carrying 16 credits.
Twenty eight students from the branches of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) had opted for PS in their 7th semester from July to December 2021.
These students worked on the latest technologies in real-life projects in various PS stations (private/public organizations) like Cozentus Technologies, ALLD Technology, Maventic Innovative Solutions, Devathon, DGLiger Consulting and Power Research & Development Consultants (PRDC). Following completion of their PS work, the students presented a brief summary of their work, their PS experience, and the learning outcomes to a panel of experts from industry and other universities. The presentation was conducted at the institute’s premises according to COVID guidelines.
SiliconTech’s PS program was appreciated by outside experts and they were impressed with the quality of work done by the students under this program.
