ED Cell conducts entrepreneurship and innovation sessions

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) organized various sessions on entrepreneurship and innovation, as part of the Mentor-Mentee program of MoE, Government of India. Experts conducted the sessions in the online mode from 11-13 February 2022.

Mr. Dhananjay Banthia (NLP Practitioner & Mind Trainer) talked about ‘Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design’ where he discussed about the importance of design thinking and how innovation design can be used to create use-centered products. Mr. Chittaranjan Pattanaik, Regional Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) spoke on ‘Entrepreneurship Skill, Attitude and Behavior Development’, where he deliberated about the various skills required to be an entrepreneur. Dr. Pankaj Parashar, Founder and CEO, Cutting Edge Medical Devices Pvt. Ltd. conducted a session on ‘Achieving Problem-Solution Fit & Product-Market Fit’, where he advised the participants to identify the gap in the market, then design and develop a product to fit the market.

A total of 200 participants attended the sessions from Bengal Institute of Technology and Shree Ramkrishna Institute of Science and Technology (West Bengal), Royal Global University (Assam), Model Mahila College (Jharkhand) and Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology (Odisha).
