SiliconTech faculty member Ms. Sweta Mohanty, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities was awarded with the Rama Hari Mishra Memorial Award by the National Journalist Welfare Board (NJWB) on 16 November 2022.
The NJWB organized an event at Jayadev Bhawan to observe the National Press Day. As a part of the event, seven meritorious journalism students who had topped in the examinations were awarded with the Samman named after seven journalists. Ms. Mohanty received the Rama Hari Mishra Memorial award for securing the first position in Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication in Ravenshaw University.
The felicitation was done by Shri Bisweshwar Tudu, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti, Shri Prafulla Kumar Mallik, Hon’ble State Minister of Steel and Mines and Shri Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Chief Secretary of Odisha.
