The Industry Interface Cell (IICell) of Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) organized an industrial visit to the Research and Development Lab of NALCO Research & Technology Centre (NRTC) on 29 August 2023.
National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) is one of the largest integrated Bauxite-Alumina-Aluminium- Power Complex in the Country. NALCO has set up a new state-of-the-art Research Centre, namely NRTC at Gothapatana, Bhubaneswar equipped with all advanced modern testing facilities.
The objective of this visit was to provide practical industry insights, foster an understanding of industrial research, technology trends, and explorepotential collaboration opportunities at NALCO Research & Technology Centre (NRTC).
The experts from NRTC explained about high-tech instruments for different testingscenarios and R&D work. A total of twelve faculty members benefitted from this visit and got the opportunity to enrich their knowledge.
