SiliconTech students were selected by Tata Power Odisha for SPARSH2023, its flagship summer internship program on 1 June 2023. Six students were selected to do their internship program under the Western and Central Odisha divisions of Tata Power. The internship program concluded on 27 July 2023 with the felicitation of the top performers in various competitions.
Four of our students from the B.Tech. EEE batch of 2024, viz. Surjyasnata Rath, Lopamudra Das, Aditya Tuhin Sarkar, and Subasis Panda did their internship with Tata Power Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) while two other students, Abhyudoy Senapati, and Kalinga Krishna Sahoo from the B.Tech. EEE batch of 2024 did their internship with Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL).
An event titled ‘Interns Youth Power Confluence’ was organized at Bhubaneswar on27 July 2023 to conclude the summer internship program. In this event, our student Surjyasnata Rath was awarded the best presentation award (TPWODL). He was also awarded for his excellent performance in the ‘Tata Trivia Quiz Competition’. Furthermore, Kalinga Krishna Sahoo was awarded for the best presentation (TPCODL) and Abhyudoy Senapati received an award for the best performance in the ‘ Case Study Competition’.
The event achieved resounding success, largely attributed to the outstanding performances of our students, who brought honor and acclaim to our institute.
