Silicon Quiz Club organized the 2nd edition of ‘Quizanna’ on 18 November 2023. The senior secondary students from different schools in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack participated in this quiz.
The objective of the quiz was to provide a platform for young students to showcase their talent and introduce them to the vast world of college quizzing. The quiz also aimed to foster teamwork, community-building, and self-confidence among the participants.
The quiz comprised of a preliminary round followed by the final round. A total of one hundred students participated in teams in the quiz. The six best teams qualified for the final round.
The winners of ‘Quizanna 2023’ were Sahil Jayasingh and Siddharth Kumar Jena from D.A.V. Public School, Unit 8, Bhubaneswar. The first runners-up were Tripathy Divyajyoti Senapati and Jeet Raha from D.A.V. Public School, Unit 8, Bhubaneswar. Ayeush Mohapatra and Sakya Singha Patra from D.A.V. Public School, Chandrasekharpur, emerged as the second runners-up. All the winning teams were awarded prizes in recognition of their quizzing talent.
The quiz was conducted by Quiz Master Kashyap Panda and coordinated by Mr. Dhananjay Tripathy, Faculty Coordinator, Silicon Quiz Club. The active participation and enthusiastic response from the students encouraged the quiz club to host such events in the future.
