The Silicon Quiz Club organized ‘INQUIZIA- The Quizzing Carnival’, a two-day quiz fest on 5 and 6 January 2024.
The objective of the quiz was to provide a platform for young students to showcase their talents and foster teamwork, community-building, and self-confidence among the participants.
The event comprised of three quizzes- the India Quiz, the Aurabinda Misra Memorial Quiz, and the Game of Thrones Quiz. A total of 130 teams of school students, college students, and corporate enthusiasts participated in these three quizzes. Each quiz consisted of a preliminary round followed by the final round. The best-performing teams in the preliminary round qualified for the finale. India Quiz had eight finalists while Aurabinda Misra Memorial Quiz and Game of Thrones Quiz had six finalists each.
The winners of India Quiz were Debabrata and Ronisha from Accenture, and the first runners-up were Aditya and Anurag from KIIT University. Vedant Giri and Abhishek Rath from KIIT University were the second runners-up. The winners of Aurabinda Misra Memorial Quiz were Anuraag Samantray and Aditya Das Choudhary from KIIT University. The first runners-up were Saransh and Mukti from KIIT University. Vedant Giri and Abhishek Rath from KIIT University were the second runners-up. The winners of Game of Thrones Quiz were Paras Mahalik and Adarsh Kumar Taria from SiliconTech while Rajesh Panigrahi from SiliconTech was the runner-up. The winners and runners-up of the three quizzes were awarded prizes in the valedictory ceremony held on 6 January 2024.
The India Quiz was conducted by Quiz Master, Mr. Somnath Chanda. The Aurabinda Misra Memorial Quiz was conducted by Quiz Master, Mr. Bivash Rath, and the core team of Silicon Quiz Club conducted the Game of Thrones Quiz.
