Putul Kumari from the B.Tech. CSE Batch of 2024 gets placed in Flipkart with 32.5 LPA.
From the beginning of her academic career, Putul developed a strong passion for Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and coding. This enthusiasm led her to actively participate in numerous hackathons and regularly compete in coding contests on platforms like CodeChef, LeetCode, and Codeforces. Through these experiences, she honed her problem-solving skills and deepened her understanding of complex algorithms.
During her second year, she had the remarkable opportunity to intern at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. There, she contributed to a cutting-edge project called Cytocube, an automated microscopy system designed to revolutionize the way cellular imaging is conducted. This internship was a pivotal moment in her academic journey, as it allowed her to apply her coding expertise to a real-world project, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the process.
As she progressed in her studies, her interests began to evolve, and she found herself drawn to the field of machine learning. This newfound curiosity led her to join Zeon AI Labs during her 8th semester as part of Silicon’s Practice School (PS) program. She worked on advanced document processing and cleaning tasks at Zeon AI Labs, utilizing various machine learning and deep learning models. This experience further solidified her passion for AI and provided her with a deeper understanding of the transformative potential of machine learning technologies.
Putul’s journey reflects her relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation. From mastering DSA to exploring AI, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to academic and industrial excellence.
