Silicon West students from various departments have joined various internships and placement readiness programs during the 2024–25 academic session.
Sixth-semester students from the Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments have secured summer internship opportunities at Hindalco Industries, Hirakud, gaining valuable hands-on exposure in a leading industrial setup. Additionally, fourth-semester students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department have been selected for prestigious Summer Research Internships at nationally reputed institutions, including IIT-BHU and IIT Kanpur, allowing them to engage in advanced academic research. Meanwhile, eighth-semester students who have already received placement offers are actively preparing to join their respective organisations, marking a smooth transition from academic life to professional careers.
