The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) jointly organized a session on ‘Raising Capital and Managing Finance’ on 7 May 2025.
This initiative aimed to equip budding entrepreneurs with essential financial knowledge critical to startup success. The session focused on identifying viable funding sources, understanding investment strategies, and implementing effective financial management techniques to ensure sustainable growth.
The event was attended by 6th Semester B.Tech. students who had been working on innovative ideas and successfully developed working prototypes. Conducted by Dr. Mahendra Prasad Agasty, President of IIC, the session highlighted the importance of strategic financial planning, sound investment decisions, and maintaining financial discipline for long-term business sustainability. The interactive format encouraged active participation, with students engaging in meaningful discussions and asking insightful questions.
A total of seventy students attended the session, gaining a comprehensive understanding of key financial aspects vital for launching and managing successful startups.
