Practice School (PS) students from B.Tech. 2025 batch successfully complete their PS program

The Industry Interface Cell (II Cell) of Silicon successfully facilitated the 7th semester and 8th semester Practice School (PS) program for the B.Tech. 2025 graduating batch from 9 July 2024 to 13 June 2025. The PS program continued its strong upward trajectory with increased student participation, higher industry engagement, and notable growth in both IT and core sector opportunities, reflecting the sustained success of experiential learning.

A total of 32 students from the 2025 batch completed their PS in the 7th semester, while 263 students opted for Practice School in the 8th semester, engaging with a wide range of industry partners. The program witnessed participation from 73 PS stations, marking a significant expansion in industry collaboration and outreach.

The selected students worked on real-world projects involving cutting-edge technologies across software, product, research, and core engineering domains, and received a monthly stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 1.1 lakh. The highest stipend of INR 1.1 lakh per month was offered by Amazon, highlighting the quality and competitiveness of the PS program.

The PS drive witnessed participation from several reputed organizations across diverse domains. The participating PS stations included Amazon, Aptus Data Labs, Boston Microtechnology, Cummins India Limited, Infosys, Incture, Karya, Logistos, Micron, Mindfire Solutions, PwC, Sasken, Signicent, Spikewell, Surya Digital, ZeonAI, along with many other emerging and established organizations.

The Practice School (PS) program at SiliconTech successfully completed four years with the 2025 graduating batch. The program has demonstrated consistent growth in student participation and industry engagement, with a noticeable increase in opportunities within the core engineering sector. Notably, over 49% of the students participated in the PS program, and nearly 91.2% of the PS interns received pre-placement offers (PPOs) upon successful completion of their internships.

The consistent growth in participation, industry partnerships, and placement outcomes underscores the success of the Practice School program in strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
