The Summer Internships started in SiliconTech on 27 March with a course in Data Science. Over the next three months, students will learn the basic concepts of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning Programming using Python libraries.
The course rolled out in a blended learning format will have Silicon faculty in the domain as mentors and data scientists from multinational technology companies as tutors.
The 22 Course participants will complete an industry-relevant technical project in Data Science under the guidance of industry experts as part of the internship program.
In the past, student projects in Data Science have covered diverse applications such as a credit card fraud detection system, market basket analysis, quora table modeling, and movie recommendation system.
