SiliconTech’s Alumni Association organized an invited talk on ‘Leadership mindset in the era of AI’ by alumnus, Ashish Balla (ECE, 2013) on 5 December 2022. The objective of this talk was to create awareness about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and motivate the students to be the leaders of the industry.
Ashish is currently working as an AI Consultant with Google, advising some of Google Cloud’s largest and most strategic customers on their digital transformation using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML). He has completed his Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and has garnered enriching industrial experience spanning over six years as a Data Science professional by developing and managing Machine Learning solutions.
In his talk, Ashish discussed the prerequisites for developing a leadership mindset for sustaining in the industry. He also discussed the roadmap for the AI industries and spoke elaborately on multiple topics related to AI like AI Ethics, Natural Language Processing and AI Product Management. The talk was followed by an interactive session in which the students got their queries answered by the speaker.
A total of 120 students and faculty members attended the engaging talk.
