Our Principal, Dr. Jaideep Talukdar, participated as an expert panelist in ‘Argus Education Next 2022’, a one-day conclave organized by Argus TV on 30 July 2022.
The main focus of the event was to discuss and assess how the education sector would adopt and respond to the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Hon’ble Minister of State, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. Dr. Talukdar spoke about the sweeping positive reforms brought about by NEP-2020, including aspects of student-centric learning, experiential learning, vocational education, and revisiting the existing examination processes. In a subsequent post-lunch session, he interacted at length with students about the various favourable facets of NEP 2020, and its implementation.
The conclave was held at Hotel Mayfair Convention, Bhubaneswar. More than 500 people from academia, government and the media attended the conclave.
