The Department of EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at SiliconTech organized a workshop on Electrical and Electronics Devices (EED) on 10 December 2022 in the various laboratories of the department.
The EED workshop is an annual event conducted by the department to exhibit the different devices used in that branch of engineering. The objective of the workshop is to enhance the basic technical knowledge of the students in real time applications and provide a platform for effective information sharing.
The event began with the welcome address delivered by Dr. Ramaprasad Panda, Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr. Rabi Narayan Mishra, Head of the EEE department, then stressed the importance of this workshop and encouraged students to attend in large numbers.
This year’s workshop had a display of around twenty-two gadgets along with the description of its working and applications in real world. The exhibition was conducted by the final year B.Tech. students under the guidance of respective mentors.
Shri. Sribatsa Panda, Ex DGM, SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant was invited as the external judge to evaluate the students based on their understanding and presentation. Students and faculties of 3rd year visited the exhibition and had an informative interaction with the final year students.
