Dr. Sudarsan Padhy, Senior Professor at the Department of CSE in SiliconTech received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Odisha Mathematics Society. The award recognized his innumerable contributions and interests in mathematics and computer science fields.
Before joining SiliconTech, he was the Director, Institute of Mathematics and Application, Bhubaneswar, Emeritus Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT, Bhubaneswar, and Professor of Mathematics at Utkal University.
He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Utkal University in 1979 and did postdoctoral research at the University of Freiburg, Germany, during 1980-81.
In the past, he has also been the President of the Odisha Information Technology Society (OITS).
