The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) at SiliconTech, the engineering institute of Silicon University, Silicon University, organized a workshop on ‘Effective Sales and Marketing Strategies for Start-ups’ on 11 February 2026.
The primary objectives of the workshop were to introduce participants to effective sales and marketing strategies for start-ups, emphasize the importance of having a clear value proposition and identify the right target audience, highlight the use of digital marketing channels and data-driven decision-making, and provide practical tools to build sustainable and scalable business models. The session aimed to equip students and aspiring entrepreneurs with actionable knowledge for achieving growth and success in a competitive business environment.
The session was delivered by Mr. Deepak Chaudhury, Founder of Success Leaf, who shared his expertise and practical experience in start-up growth and business development. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of seventy-five students and faculty members, reflecting strong academic interest in entrepreneurship and start-up management.
During the workshop, Mr. Choudhury discussed innovative marketing techniques, consultative sales approaches, and methods to establish strong customer relationships. He stressed the importance of experimentation, continuous learning, and strategic planning, particularly in the early stages of a start-up.
