Five-day FDP on ‘Cryptography for Information Security’

Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) was selected as a Remote Hosting Center for the five-day Faculty Development Program on Cryptography for Information Security’ organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh in ICT mode from 9 May to 13 May 2022.

A panel of experts from institutes and industries including Ch A S Murty, Associate Director, CDAC, Hyderabad, Gurcharan Singh, Faculty, Central Detective Training Institute (CDTI), Chandigarh, Vipin Gupta, Director, U-Net Solutions, Punjab, Dr. Mala Kalra, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, NITTTR, Chandigarh, Lt. Col. Rama Krishna Challa, Professor & Head, Dept. of CSE, NITTTR, Chandigarh, Amrendra Sharan, Junior System Programmer, NITTTR, Chandigarh and Shweta Sharma, NITTTR, Chandigarh served as resource persons in the FDP.

A total of 22 faculty members from Silicon West, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Burla, Vikas Institute of Technology, Bargarh and Badriprasad College of Computer Technology, Sambalpur participated in this FDP in the physical mode.

The program was co-ordinated by Mr. Satyabrat Sahoo, HoD, Department of CSE, Silicon West.
