Five-day FDP on ‘Machine Learning using Python’ in ICT mode

Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) was selected as a Remote Hosting Center for the five-day Faculty Development Program organized in ICT mode by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), NITTTR Chandigarh from 28 March – 1 April 2022. It is worth mentioning that there are only 18 such Remote Hosting Centers across India.

The program was co-ordinated by Mr. Satyabrata Sahoo, HOD, Department of CSE. A panel of experts from institutes and industries including Dr. Sarbjeet Singh, Professor CSE, UIET, Chandigarh, Dr. Mahipal Jadeja, Assistant Professor, MNIT, Jaipur, Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Magma Research and Consultancy Limited, Ambala, Ms. Shano Solanki, Associate Professor, CSE, NITTTR Chandigarh and Ms. Shruti Wadhwa Khatri, Director, Hash Logic Infosec Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh served as resource persons in the FDP.

A total of 32 faculty members from Silicon West, Vikas Institute of Technology, Bargarh, Badriprasad College of Computer Technology, Sambalpur, and Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT) participated in this FDP in the physical mode.
