The Greenviro Solutions, Mumbai conducted the Energy, Green and Environment audit at SiliconTech on 24 & 25 November 2022.
The audit was conducted as a mandatory requirement for NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) to ensure that the campus is adhering to the rules and taking necessary steps to maintain a green campus where activities which are hazardous to environment and energy resources are discouraged.
The audit was conducted by a two -member team headed by Ar. Nahida Abdulla. The team visited various facilities, inspected electrical installations along with various sources of energy and water in the campus. It verified the documents related to power and water consumption and scrutinized the solid and e-waste management facilities.
The team discussed the findings post the audit and appreciated the efforts taken by the institute to provide and maintain various facilities inside the campus.
The audit team was assisted by the members of the statutory committee at SiliconTech.
