Silicon West’s Industry Interface Cell organized a virtual interactive session titled ‘Journey from Campus to Corporate: Career in Manufacturing Sector’ led by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Pattnaik, CEO, Sparkspot on 22 August 2022. Sparkspot is a tech-based consulting organization that helps small and medium size enterprises with total HR & Business growth solutions.
The objective of this session was to bring awareness about the unique challenges associated with academic campus and industry workplace. The focus was on understanding the expectations of the students when they join the industry and making this transition exciting for them.
Mr. Pattnaik shed light on the evolution of manufacturing and how it has grown with time and soon industry 4.0 is going to be the reality. The students must gear-up for the changing dynamics and move ahead of the curve by constantly upgrading their knowledge and skill while they are in campus.
He emphasized on 4 Ps: People, Process, Product and Presence which is extremely relevant to the manufacturing industries.
Silicon West students from different batches actively participated in the discussion and experienced a joyful learning.
