MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Govt. of India selects IIC of SiliconTech as a Mentor institution

The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India has selected Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Silicon Institute of Technology (SiliconTech) as a mentor institution for the Mentor-Mentee Program for IIC institutions.

A total of 50 IIC institutions have been selected as mentor institutions under the Mentor–Mentee Program 2021 – 2022. SiliconTech is the only institute from Odisha.

The objective of the Mentor-Mentee scheme for IIC institutions is to engage high performing IIC institutions to act as a mentor to the IIC institutions those are need of guidance and support. This twinning program will help IIC institutions to facilitate knowledge exchange and resource mobilization between institutions by offering inter-institutional collaborations and peer mentoring support during the IIC 4.0 calendar year.

Mentor institutions will receive financial support from MIC/AICTE to provide mentoring and to organize the prescribed activities for mentee institutions thereby enabling them to lead and streamline their campus Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystems.
