The Dept. of BSH at Silicon West conducted a three-day online workshop on ‘Understanding Higher Mathematics, Simplified’ for teachers across the country to enhance their skills. The workshop was for teachers of Mathematics in higher secondary institutions. It was held from 11 to 13 August 2020.
The workshop aimed to build teacher skills in making classroom instructions in Mathematics more engaging and using real-life situations to teach the subject.
The workshop focussed on diverse topics like Binary Relations, Binary Operations, Boolean Algebra, Probability, and Matrix Algebra. Teachers across the country participated in this program.
Silicon West organized the free workshop under the ‘Train The Trainer’ initiative. Dr.Lalit Mohan Pradhan was the coordinator for this program. The resource persons shared ways to improve the students’ knowledge of mathematics while teaching the school curriculum.
