The SiliconTech Robotics Club and Circuit Club organized NIRMAN, under the patronage of Student Innovation and Promotion Cell (SIPC), from 28 April – 30 April 2022.
NIRMAN is a technological festival having the motto ‘Rise with Technology’. It covered various events like Line Follower, Robo Race, Idea Presentation and Hacknation.
Students worked in teams and collaborated to create possible solutions for the most pressing ideas using design thinking in the ‘Idea Presentation’ event. In ‘Robo Race’, the students got their human-operated bots to participate in the ultimate survival race. The ‘Line Follower’ race consisted of bots which were mobile machines that could detect and follow lines on a surface. The team having the best bot with the least commute time won the race. ‘Hacknation’ was a 12-hour hackathon where participants could use any technology to build their hacks, based on the identified hack themes and showcase their innovative ideas.
NIRMAN 2022 was powered and co-powered by Start-up Odisha and YoYo Rydes. The event partners were Formester, taskade, DigitalOcean,.xyx and Sykefit.
Passionate minds across the nation united to ideate and innovate and got a chance to win cash prizes up to INR 1 Lakh.
