Shubham Kumar, alumnus from the 2021 batch of B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering at Silicon West, Sambalpur has been placed in Amazon with a CTC of 35 LPA.
A proactive learner throughout, he has done projects in the field of e-commerce Webapp using React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB and created a Sudoku Game using PyGame and Back-Tracking concepts.
Subham had presented a paper/poster ‘MatchCloud: Service Matching for Multi-Cloud Marketplace’ in COMSNETS 2021 – the 13th International Conference on COMmunication Systems and NETworks during his final year. He had cracked the TCS CodeVita challenge and had also done a research internship under the supervision of Dr. Sourav Kanti Addya, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, NIT Surathkal, Karnataka, while he was in his pre-final year.
He had cracked TCS Digital and had also got offers from Infosys & Wipro through campus placement. It is worth mentioning that Shubham has qualified GATE 2021 with a score of 459 in CS/IT. A truly outstanding performer.
