Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Silicon Institute of Technology, observed World Entrepreneurship Day on 24 August 2021.
On this occasion, a panel discussion was organized. Mr. Suresh Chandra Nayak, Promotor, Director & Chief Executive Officer of SiliconTechLab (STL), Mr. Surendra Nath, Director, Vaisali Dairy Private Limited and Mr. Swayam Vikash Pattanaik founder of “Startup Tyme” were the panelists. Mr. Bhabani Shankar Pani of Span Resource Management moderated the discussion. Dr. Mahendra Prasad Agasty , FIC ED Cell gave the welcome address. Mr. Nath initially talked about the factors that motivated him to become an entrepreneur.
Mr. Surendra Nath is an alumnus of Silicon Institute of Technology (Batch- 2013). He narrated how logical thinking of an engineer and experience of working in a private firm helped him to become an entrepreneur. Mr. Swayam Vikash Pattanayak, spoke about his journey as an entrepreneur. He founded “Startup Tyme” in 2016, where he trains students in the core skills to face the MNCs.
Mr. Bhavani Pani concluded the session by congratulating the three entrepreneurs for the wonderful work they are doing in their respective startups. His message for all the entrepreneurs was to keep aiming high, for the growth of their startups.
