Six students from the Socio-Environmental Club at SiliconTech, the engineering institute of Silicon University, received the third prize at the prestigious Odisha Technological Conclave 2024, organized by Ever Green Forum on 15 September 2024 at Jaydev Bhawan to celebrate Engineers’ Day.
The event emphasized the role of engineers in combating environmental challenges and included a model exhibition where students presented innovative projects. The SiliconTech team, consisting of six students from the ECE 2025 batch, received the third prize at the exhibition for their impressive sustainability project. Team members Swarup Nandan Das, Sai Sradha Pattanaik, Dibyansh Baranwal, Adarsh Amrit, Ranjeet Singh, and Nutan Prasad Panda demonstrated their commitment to environmental innovation. Each student received an appreciation certificate and a prize for their outstanding contributions.
The conclave fostered collaboration among engineers, students, and environmental advocates, promoting sustainable engineering practices as a step toward addressing climate change.
