SiliconTech, the engineering institute of Silicon University, bade a fond farewell to the B.Tech. graduating batch of 2024 on 18 May 2024 in the North Lawn of the campus.
The event began with the speeches delivered by our Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Jaideep Talukdar, and our Dean (Student Affairs), Dr. Ramaprasad Panda. They shared inspiring words of encouragement and extended heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates for achieving this important milestone in their academic journey.
The graduating batch of 2024 fondly reminisced about their time at Silicon, making everyone feel nostalgic. Some students discussed the challenges they overcame during their journey, while others celebrated their achievements with pride. They extended heartfelt wishes to their friends for the bright paths awaiting them in the future. Furthermore, members of Silicon’s Cultural Society showcased their talents with vibrant cultural performances, adding an extra layer of joy and celebration to the event.
During the event’s felicitation ceremony, the Publication Cell felicitated the core team members and columnists of the in-house magazine, SLATE for their invaluable contributions. Additionally, the Industry Interface Cell (II Cell) acknowledged the outstanding achievements of Payal Pani for her exceptional GATE score, Ms. Debanwita Mahato (18 LPA) and Mr. Gopinath Barat (14 LPA) for securing the highest packages, and Nilesh for his exemplary student coordination skills.
The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, with exchanges of warm greetings and promises made to stay in touch. Silicon extended heartfelt wishes to its class of 2020–2024 graduates for their future success and academic achievements.
