The Eco-Social Club of SiliconTech, the engineering institute of Silicon University, collaborated with Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar to organize a Blood Donation Camp on 28 September 2026 at the University campus. The initiative was aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donation, promoting social responsibility, and creating awareness among students, faculty members, and staff about the importance of blood donation and its role in saving lives.
The objective of the camp was to motivate members of the University community to participate in a humanitarian cause, foster a spirit of social responsibility and community service, and spread awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation. The initiative also provided students, faculty members, and staff with an opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of society.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ramaprasad Panda, Dean (Student Affairs), Silicon University, in the presence of Eco-Social Club faculty members, student members, Capital Hospital personnel, and University staff.
