The Codigo Plataforma club at Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized an engaging and inspiring UI/UX Design Competition on 13 November 2025.
The event aimed at fostering creativity, innovation, and user-centric problem-solving among students. It served as a dynamic platform for participants to demonstrate their design capabilities through thoughtfully crafted digital interfaces.
Participants presented their concepts before a distinguished panel of judges comprising Mr. Bijay Shankar Tripathy, Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Biresh Dakua, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering, and Ms. Alka Dash, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Engineering. Their expert insights, constructive critiques, and motivational remarks greatly enriched the learning experience for all participants.
The competition showcased remarkable enthusiasm and originality, with students delivering innovative prototypes grounded in modern design principles and practical usability. Their work reflected a strong understanding of user experience, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and creative interface design.
Concluding on a positive and inspiring note, the event reaffirmed Codigo Plataforma’s commitment to nurturing design thinking and encouraging a culture of innovation on campus.
