Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized an expert talk for the students of the 2024 admission batch by alumnus Manglesh Kumar Ranjan on 10 September 2024.
Manglesh is an accomplished alumnus from the 2017–21 CSE batch, who was honoured as the Best Graduate of 2021. He began his career with TCS (Digital) and simultaneously worked on scaling his start-up, Citikeeper, which he founded during his undergraduate years. His unique blend of academic brilliance, corporate experience, and entrepreneurial vision has enabled him to make meaningful contributions to both the tech industry and society. Currently, he is pursuing an MBA at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur.
In his inspiring talk, Manglesh shared insights on a broad range of topics, including the importance of sincerity and discipline for academic success, consistency and dedication in entrepreneurial pursuits, preparation for higher studies, and balancing business with social responsibility.
The session served as a source of great motivation for the freshers, encouraging them to explore diverse career paths and strive for excellence in both personal and professional spheres.
