Silicon West organized an expert talk on ‘Archaeological findings and history of Odisha’ by Dr. Jitu Mishra, Co-founder at Sarna Educational & Cultural Services LLP on 11 January 2023.
The objective of this talk was to discuss about the significance of archaeological findings and create an awareness about the culture of Odisha.
The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Mihir Hota, our Dean. In his address Dr. Mishra discussed about the glorious history of Odisha and shared the significant archaeological findings. He also spoke on the cultural heritage of Odisha and shared some of the experiences he had while exploring different districts of Odisha. Furthermore, he discussed about various ongoing projects of archeological survey.
The talk was followed an interactive session. Around hundred faculty members and students attended the talk.
