Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized an expert talk on ‘Skill Development, Employability & Entrepreneurship in Electronics’ by Mr. Mukesh Kumar Sukla, Founder & Director, VLSIPRO Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bhubaneswar, on 29 January 2025.
The objective of the session was to create awareness about the vast opportunities in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the field of electronics, while also encouraging students to take up projects and hands-on activities in this domain. Mr. Sukla, drawing from his extensive industry experience, highlighted the growing demand for skilled professionals in VLSI, embedded systems, and semiconductor technology, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and practical exposure. He also discussed the evolving job landscape, stressing the need for adaptability and an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in the competitive tech industry.
