Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organised an expert talk titled ‘Development of Quantum Mechanics’ on 11 September 2024 by Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra, Former Reader in Physics, Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur, for the newly admitted students of the 2024–28 batch.
Dr. Mishra traced the significant scientific milestones and theoretical developments that contributed to the evolution of Quantum Mechanics. He also highlighted contemporary research trends and discussed the promising avenues for future exploration in this fascinating field of physics.
The talk offered students a deeper appreciation of the subject and sparked curiosity about ongoing advancements.
