Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized an invited talk by alumna Ankita Meher from the B. Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) batch of 2015 on 13 May 2023.
Ankita is currently working as a Data Engineering Consultant at Accenture in London, United Kingdom. She has more than seven years of experience in the IT industry.
The session began with the welcome address delivered by Prof. Mihir Hota, our Dean. During her talk, Ankita shared her insights and learnings with the students of the institute. She reflected on her journey of pursuing B.Tech. and shared the experiences she had as a student of Silicon West. Ankita emphasized the role of effective communication and perseverance in one’s career path.
The talk was followed by an interactive session.
Dr. Tyagraj Thakur, Faculty in Charge, Industry Interface Cell, coordinated and compered the program. The program was attended by B.Tech. students from all batches and branches.
