Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized a blood donation camp in its premises on 24 Dec 2022, in collaboration with Sambad Ama Odisha.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Dev Kumar Tiwari, Director, Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. Students, faculty, and staff volunteered to donate blood for a noble cause.
A total of 70 units of blood were collected in the camp. The collected blood units were donated to the District Headquarter Hospital, Sambalpur andcertificates were provided toall the voluntary donors.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Mihir Hota, Dean.
