Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized a blood donation camp on 13 December 2025, initiated by the Social Service Club in association with the Student Council. The initiative was conducted under the leadership of Ms. Tapaswini Dash, Faculty-in-Charge, Social Service Club, and Dr. Simanchal Bag, Faculty-in-Charge, Student Council, in collaboration with Sambad Ama Odisha and under the guidance of Dr. Kalpesh Kankad, Sambalpur Blood Donation Officer.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, with forty-three donors voluntarily donating blood. The initiative played a significant role in promoting social responsibility, compassion, and humanitarian values within the academic community, reflecting the institute’s commitment to community service and social welfare.
