Silicon Institute of Technology Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized its 12th Annual Athletic Meet on 21 January 2023.
The chief guest of the event was Dr. Mihir Hota, our Dean Academics. The event began with the march-past done by the different houses of the institute. After the march-past, various sports events like the 100-meter race, 200-meter race, relay race, discus throw, volleyball, and long jump were held. All the staff and students cheered the participants. The students participated in the events enthusiastically and displayed the spirit of sportsmanship.
After all the sports events were conducted, prizes were distributed among the winners of the different competitions. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Hota.
The event was supervised by Mr. Biresh Kumar Dakua, Faculty-in-Charge, Sports.
