Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized ‘Quizanna 2023-24’, an inter-school/inter-college quiz competition on 2 December 2023.
The objective of the quiz was to introduce young students to the exciting world of quizzing and provide them with a platform to showcase their budding talents.
A total of forty teams from eleven higher secondary schools and colleges in Sambalpur participated in this quiz. Eight best-performing teams in the preliminary round were selected for the final round.
Gangadhar Meher Higher Secondary School, Sambalpur emerged as the winner of the competition. Government Women’s College, Sambalpur, and Aditya Residential School, Sambalpur became the first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. The winning teams were awarded prizes for their outstanding achievements and all the participants were felicitated with certificates to appreciate their knowledge and enthusiasm.
A total of 160 participants, students, and teachers attended the quiz competition and contributed towards its success.
