Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized ‘Quizanna 2023’, an inter-school quiz competition on 17 February 2023.
The objective of this event was to introduce young students to the world of college quizzing and showcase their talent.
A total of twenty four teams of senior secondary students from fifteen schools in Sambalpur participated in the event.
Gangadhar Meher Higher Secondary School, Sambalpur emerged as the winner. Vikash The Concept School, Sambalpur became the first runner-up and Vikash Higher Secondary School, Sambalpur became the second runner-up.
Prof. Mihir Hota, Dean Academics, felicitated the winners with prizes and certificates. All the participants were awarded certificates of participation.
The event was coordinated by the members of Literary Club and the Students’ Council. The Jury consisted of Dr. Sohan Kumar Pande, Assistant Professor from the department of Computer Science and Engineering and Ms. Sagarika Pradhan, Assistant Professor from the department of Mechanical Engineering.
