Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized its annual technical fest Techstasy 2026 alongside the annual cultural function Zreyas 2026 on 18 and 19 March 2026.
The event aimed to foster technical skills, creativity, teamwork, and holistic student development through a mix of academic, competitive, and cultural activities.
The fest was graced by Prof. P. K. Mishra, former Director of Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur, as Chief Guest. The technical segment, Techstasy 2026, was inaugurated by Prof. Mihir Hota, Dean (Academics), along with Dr. Simanchal Bag, Faculty-in-Charge of the Students’ Council. A wide range of events such as Technical Roadies, Quizmania, Robo Race, Spell Bee, Treasure Hunt, and various sports activities witnessed enthusiastic participation.
The academic report, presented by the Students’ Council Secretary General Biswojit Rout, highlighted the institute’s achievements over the past year. This was followed by certificate distribution and vibrant cultural performances under Zreyas 2026, showcasing student talent and creativity.
The two-day celebration concluded with an energetic cultural event and a vote of thanks by Amlan Abhijeet Mishra, marking the successful culmination of the fest. The event left participants with memorable experiences, reinforcing the institute’s spirit of innovation and community.
