Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized the second edition of Project Expo 2026 on 26 February 2026.
The expo aimed to promote innovation, technical proficiency, and real-world problem-solving by providing a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge through hands-on projects.
The event was organized by Codigo Plataforma and the Silicon Robotics Club in collaboration with the Institute’s Innovation Council (IIC) and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Dr. Sanjib Kumar Nayak, faculty of CSE and Dr. Suvendu Narayan Mishra, faculty of ETC from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla served as jury members and evaluated projects based on innovation, technical implementation, presentation, and practical applicability.
Students showcased innovative software and hardware projects spanning emerging technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and practical engineering applications.
At Project Expo 2026, outstanding innovation and technical excellence were recognized across both hardware and software categories. In the hardware category, the first prize was awarded to team Secret, while the second prize was secured by team Anokha. In the software category, team Debuggers won the first prize, followed by team Omega, which received the second prize. The third prize of the Expo was awarded to team Versatile for their commendable performance and presentation.
The event concluded with appreciation for all participants, reflecting a strong spirit of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
