Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) organized its annual food festival ‘Zaika-e-Tadka 2023’ on 2 February 2023.
The objective of this event was to give the students a platform to showcase their culinary skills and celebrate different cuisines of the world.
A total of ten teams participated in the contest. The team comprising of Anurag Bhuyan, Naquib Zilani Khan and Sailesh Mishra from the B.Tech. CSE batch of 2026 were the winners for their preparation – Methi Puri, Gajar Halwa and Masala Tea. Alok Raj, Abhishek Kumar and Pranjal Kumar Giri from the B.Tech. CSE batch of 2026 were the first runners-up for their preparation – Litti and Chokha. Chowdhury Swayansu Satyaprajna, Ashish Kumar Dash and Vishal Kumar from the B.Tech. CSE batch of 2023 got the second runners-up for their preparation – White Cheese Sauce Pasta, Mac N Cheese, French Fries and Chhena Barfi.
