Silicon West kick-started its 2020-21 placement drive from 21 September 2020.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Silicon West placed 71% of the students by the end of April 2021.
A total of 35 companies participated in the recruitment drive. Companies from engineering & technology, IT/software, data analytics, consulting, semiconductor and healthcare sectors dominated the recruiter pool.
Few notable recruiters in 2021 included Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Mindfire Solutions, Hexaware, Digit General Insurance, and Broadridge Financial Solutions.
90% of the placed students got an average compensation package of 3.5 LPA. TCS made the highest offer of 7 LPA in 2021.
