Silicon West kick-started its 2021-22 placement drive from 15 July 2021. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Silicon West placed 82% of the students by the end of March 2022.
A total of 36 companies participated in the recruitment drive. Companies from engineering & technology, IT services/consulting, data analytics and healthcare sectors dominated the recruiter pool.
Some of the notable recruiters in 2021-22 included Accenture, Infosys, TCS, DXC, Capgemini, Intellipaat, Tech Mahindra, LatentView, Legato, LTTS, Quest Global, Nirmalya Labs, Kellton Tech, Hexaware and Xoriant.
80% of the placed students got an average compensation package of 4 LPA. Capgemini made the highest offer of 7.5 LPA in 2022.
