Two alumni and four students from Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) participated in the International Conference of Cognitive, Green, and Ubiquitous Computing (IC-CGU) 2024 organized by C. V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar from 1– 2 March 2024. The international conference was technically co-sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Kolkata Section.
Our students and alumni presented three research papers at the international conference. The paper titled ‘An Intelligent Wheel-Chair Model using CNN-MPNN based Text Classification’ was presented by Malay Kumar Purohit (CSE, 2023). This paper is co-authored by Geetanjali Dash (CSE, 2023). Piyush Das (CSE, 2024) presented the paper ‘An Intelligent Regression Approach for Weather Forecasting System Using Machine Learning’ co-authored by Pranjal Parmar (CSE, 2024). The paper titled ‘Biometric Facial Driven Digital Attendance System Using Machine Learning Approach Based Haar Cascade Technique’ was presented by Nikhil Agarwal (CSE, 2023). This paper is co-authored by Apala Mahana (CSE, 2023) and Anup Kumar Sahu (CSE, 2023).
