Silicon West students present six research papers at the International Conference on Cutting-edge Technology in Computing, Communication, and Intelligence (ICCTCCI-2024)

Silicon West students participated in the International Conference on Cutting-edge Technology in Computing, Communication, and Intelligence (ICCTCCI-2024) organized by the Institute of Management and Information Technology, Cuttack from 23 to 24 March 2024.

Our students from the 2024 graduating batch of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department presented six research papers at the international conference.

Sandeep Sahani and Subham Barik collaborated on a paper titled ‘IoT Enabled Greenhouse Environment Automation’, exploring advancements in agricultural technology. Arnold Anthony and Kshitij Satpathy co-authored a paper on ‘Restaurant Recommendation System Utilizing User Preferences with Content-Based Filtering,’ presenting innovative approaches to enhance user experiences in the hospitality industry. Smriti Shikha Behera, Rojalin Biswal, and Neha Lakra contributed to the field of healthcare with their paper on ‘Cancer Prediction Using Data Mining Techniques’, showcasing the potential of data-driven approaches in medical diagnosis. Abhishek Bhakat and Priyanshu Raj’s research on ‘Car Speed Detection using YOLOv4 and Deep Sorting’ demonstrated advancements in transportation safety technology. Subhendu Goutam and Amarnath Aich introduced a ‘Content-Driven Movie Recommendation System Using Cosine Approach,’ offering personalized recommendations for film enthusiasts. Finally, Aayush Kumar and Subham Kumar collaborated on a ‘Stock Trend Prediction System for Traders’, providing insights into financial forecasting. The proceedings of this conference will soon be published by Taylor & Francis.

These presentations collectively illustrate the ongoing pursuit of knowledge and innovation at Silicon West across various domains.
