Four students from the Robotics Club at Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur (Silicon West) received the second prize at Tech Expo 2025, organized by Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla from 20-22 February 2025.
The Silicon West team, comprising of Satyaranjan Nayak, Ashmit Singh, Sumit Kumar and Divyanshu Singh, presented a project titled ‘Smart Renewable Energy Optimization System’ which received the second prize because of its innovative approach to optimizing energy usage and maximizing the use of solar power.
The event showcased the advancements in modern technology and its role in developing a sustainable future.
