SiliconTech’s Alumni Association organized a virtual talk by alumnus Suraj Sharma from the B. Tech. Electronics and Instrumentation (EIE) batch of 2007 on 11 April 2022.
Suraj joined SiliconTech as a Lecturer in the EIE department after a small stint in TVS Motor Company. Thereafter, he joined Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as a Graduate Engineer In 2008. He was one of the few selected for a company sponsored executive MBA program at IIM Lucknow. He joined the HR department at IOCL after completing his MBA.
In his talk, Suraj reminisced about his days as a student and also as a lecturer at SiliconTech. He spoke about how the institute has evolved in the areas of 3 Ls- Library, Lecturer and Laboratory. In his message to the juniors, he said that one must work hard and consistently strive for success because success is not a consequence of willingness only. The enriching talk inspired and motivated the Siliconites.
