The workshop began with an oath taken by the audience, pledging to learn safety measures and alert others to safety concerns.  Mr. Swain then delivered a talk in which he discussed the safety myths and shared the scientific approaches to dispel these myths. The talk was followed by a Q & A session in which the audience had to identify the situational risk factors. Moreover, he explained the difference between an incident, accident, and near-miss event, and elaborated on how non-reporting of near-miss events leads to future incidents and accidents.
